IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NCAA CERTIFIED EVENTS:  Midwest Elite and GLS Summer Showcase

GIRLS 14U and older teams

ROSTERS:  

Coaches/Coordinators make sure to get your rosters in one week prior to the NCAA certified events.  They will be included in the college coaches packet:  Shootout Series Roster FormUse the link, or similar roster form with the same information.

MANDATORY NCAA REQUIREMENTS:

NCAA MEETING:  Schedule your MANDATORY meeting with Chuck Morning, wiaau@wwt.net .

All teams participating at an NCAA certified event must register online prior to reporting to participate in the event. Coaches are expected to keep their online rosters updated. Coaches will need to "opt in" to all events in which the team will participate.

Failure to register or to submit all required information in the NCAA BBCS system will result in the team being denied participation in all NCAA certified summer events and in the Midwest Elite April 17 -19 and the Great Lakes Shootout Summer Showcase, July 10-12.

All individuals that engage in coaching activities at an NCAA certified event must be approved prior to participation through the NCAA Coaches Approval Program. To fill out the online application, you will need the following: access to the internet current knowledge regarding the NCAA basketball certification rules a valid credit card that can be used to pay for the application process
 and a current email address. The approval process for coaches takes more than 1 week to process and the NCAA charges $40 for each member on your staff . Once you are approved you are cleared to be on the sidelines for two full years.
